A deep half-dome of PET acoustic felt on an iron frame — it pulls echo out of a room while filling it with warm, even light. The curved felt interior wraps the 15W LED source, softening glare and directing light downward; the exterior face absorbs mid- and high-frequency reverberation that bounces off hard surfaces. Available in two proportions — a compact Ø28 cm and a room-filling Ø39 cm — in six felt colors for dining rooms, home offices, open-plan studios, and hospitality spaces.
Integrated LED & hardwired install
The LED is built in and not user-replaceable — the whole fixture is the light source. It hardwires to a ceiling junction box (not plug-in); a licensed electrician is recommended.

- Hardwired ceiling install — switch off power at the breaker first; a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Fix the canopy to a ceiling junction box and adjust the suspension cords to your preferred drop height before tightening.
- For the best acoustic effect, position the pendant directly over the noisiest zone — a dining table, desk cluster, or seating area. The Ø39.5 cm covers a wider area and absorbs more sound.
- The dome shape directs most light downward, making it ideal for task lighting over a table or work surface; hang 65–80 cm above the surface for even coverage.
- The integrated LED is sealed and not user-replaceable; contact us if it fails within the warranty period.
- Dust the PET felt with a soft brush or vacuum on the lowest suction setting. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasive cleaners, which can mat the fibres and reduce acoustic performance.
How does the dome shape help with acoustics?
The curved PET felt exterior absorbs mid- and high-frequency sound waves that bounce off hard surfaces like ceilings, floors, and walls — reducing echo and making the space feel quieter. The dome form also means the felt faces more directions than a flat disc, giving slightly broader coverage above and to the sides. It is not full soundproofing, but it makes a noticeable difference in lively, hard-surfaced rooms.
What is the light like, and is it dimmable?
Both sizes use a 15W integrated LED. The dome interior directs light downward, creating a focused, warm pool over the table or surface below. Dimming depends on the driver, so contact us to confirm compatibility before adding a dimmer switch.
Which size should I choose?
The Ø28 cm (small) suits a single desk, bedside, breakfast nook, or 2-person dining table — it is compact and works as an accent or task light. The Ø39.5 cm (large) is the better choice for a 4–6 person dining table or an open work area where both more light and more sound absorption are needed. When in doubt, go larger — the dome form reads well even at the bigger size.
Does it need hardwiring, or can I plug it in?
It hardwires to a ceiling junction box — not plug-in. We recommend a licensed electrician. Turn off power at the breaker before fixing the canopy, then adjust the suspension cords to your preferred drop height before tightening.
What is it made of and how do I clean the felt?
