Center the Coltrane Wall Lamp 60-66 inches from the floor (eye level for an average standing adult). For pairs flanking a bed or focal piece, space the sconces 36-48 inches apart and center them on the focal point. For long hallways, install pairs of 1-tube units 8-10 feet apart in a rhythmic series.
Pair the right bulb — E14 candelabra LED
E14 candelabra base — the narrow tube diameter (3.1") fits only E14 candle or flame-shape bulbs. 1-tube needs 2 bulbs (one top, one bottom), 2-tube needs 4 bulbs. Recommended: 3-4W LED Warm White 2700K, candle or flame shape, frosted glass. Frosted bulbs diffuse the gold-painted interior glow evenly. Avoid clear filament-style LEDs — the filament shape is visible from below through the angled cuts. Bulbs sold separately. Max wattage: 40W incandescent equivalent / 5W LED per socket.

No. The Coltrane Wall Lamp is rated IP20 — indoor dry locations only. The powder-coated steel and exposed bulb sockets are not designed for humidity, moisture, rain, snow, or temperature swings. Do not install in bathrooms above a tub or shower, kitchens directly above a sink or stove, screened porches, covered patios, balconies, or any outdoor area. Water ingress causes electrical short, shock, and fire risk. For outdoor or wet/damp interiors, choose a UL-rated wet- or damp-location wall sconce.
