Open Bloom has outward-curling petals, best viewed from above on coffee tables or low consoles. Closed Bud folds inward vertically, ideal for eye-level surfaces like mantels, shelves, or entry consoles. Pair them for a layered arrangement or use one standalone.

What sizes are available?

Open Bloom: small 11″ × 11″ × 8.7″ or large 15″ × 15″ × 10.2″. Closed Bud: small 11″ × 11″ × 12.2″ or large 14.2″ × 14.2″ × 15″. Large pieces work as focal points; small sizes layer well in groups of two or three.

Can I put fresh flowers or water in it?

No—Magnolia Bloom is sculptural decor, not functional. The unglazed, unsealed interior will absorb water and damage the patina. Dried botanicals and pampas grass may be placed through the opening without water.

How do I care for it?

Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not submerge in water or expose to moisture. The hand-rubbed ochre patina, slight asymmetries, and tonal marks are intentional signs of hand-thrown craft, not flaws.

Is each piece unique?

Yes—hand-throwing means no two are identical. Subtle variations in petal curl, surface texture, patina depth, and kiln marks are inherent to the process and confirm artisan craftsmanship made in our own atelier.

1300°C High-Temperature Vitrification

Once shaped, the raw clay undergoes extensive air-drying before being fired in a kiln at 1300°C for over ten hours. Under extreme heat, the clay fully vitrifies into a stone-like density—immensely strong, fade-proof, and yellowing-resistant.
