What are the leaves made of?

Each leaf is hand-cast from white porcelain and mounted individually on a metal stem. A small amount of adhesive secures each leaf to its mount; light residue is normal and does not affect appearance or function.

Can I dim this fixture?

Yes. The fixture is compatible with common wall switches and dimmers. A dimmer is not included.

Can I change the drop length or cord length?

Yes. The cable is 59 inches and adjustable on install. Longer cable, custom cord lengths, and extensions are available—email support@vakkerlight.com with your ceiling height and table dimensions.

What if I have a sloped or vaulted ceiling?

A custom canopy is available to support sloped and vaulted ceilings. Contact support@vakkerlight.com with your ceiling angle and specifications.

Will this work with US household power?

Yes. The fixture operates on AC 110–240V universal voltage. It is certified for North America and ships free to all 50 US states.

Four Stages of Craft

Each ginkgo leaf passes through four skilled hands before it joins the chandelier. No leaf is identical. Every surface carries the trace of the artisan who made it.

Step 1: Sculpting and carving the ceramic ginkgo leaf form

Sculpting & Carving

Each leaf begins as raw clay. Master sculptors shape the distinctive bilobed ginkgo form by hand, carving the characteristic veins and curvature that give each leaf its living quality.

Mold Making

Precision plaster molds are cast from the master sculpt. Each mold preserves the exact weight, thickness, and surface detail of the original — ensuring every leaf in a commission matches perfectly.

Kiln Firing

Formed leaves are carefully dried then fired in a high-temperature kiln. The ceramic body becomes hard, dense, and uniquely translucent — allowing the warm glow of the light source to soften through each leaf.

Grinding & Polishing

Each fired leaf is ground and hand-polished to a smooth, silk-matte finish. The edges are refined, the surface inspected, and any imperfection addressed — before the leaf is approved and assembled onto the brass armature.

Gorgeous light absolutely worth the money. We used it in our dining room its so classystunning. I thought the directions made sense the ginkgo leaves placement schematic was easy to understanddo. Highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning! Perfect for our living room. I love the ceramics, the aged look of the metal and above all, the way it reflects off the ceiling. Worth the purchase!

This fixture takes awhile to put together. About an hour and a half. However, its completely worth it. This fixture is a show stopper. Its the star of the whole room. Just be prepared to attach all the ginkgo leaves. But again, its worth your time for how gorgeous this light is.

My family love it. It looks Modern and Classic at the same time. However, it is time consuming to assemble each ginkgo leaves. We are 4 people spending at least 3 hours on Sunday from start to finish. Worth it. In my pictures, we didnt put all light bulbs.

This is the first chandelier in our house and after the installation and usage for ~1 week I'm happy to report that I'm very satisfied .The design of the chandelier is very creative, something I really value, and it helped create a a luxurious yet vibrant aura in the room

My wife loves it, even though we ran into some issues when initially installing it. We found a work around and boom! its beautiful.

The chandelier was exactly what I was hoping for! The electrician took some time to install but it was well worth it. Lots of ginkgo leaves does take time, but the results are worth it!

Is Beautiful!! Extremely pleased with the result. Is definitely a two person project Do not recommend doing it with one person at all, extremely lengthy to complete.

Absolutely gorgeous! We went over budget for a new master bedroom and this chandelier is spectacular! Installation is a bit difficult, but adjustments are easy. When we first opened it, I almost cried! And the pattern on the ceiling is so beautiful!

Beautiful quality chandelier. I have purchased 2 one for living room and one for dinning, takes time to assemble very bright can be used for low and high ceilings. Arrived on time well packaged.
