Small has 8 lights, Medium 10, Large 12, X-Large 15, and XX-Large 18. All include matched LED or Edison bulbs (E12 for North America, G9 for Europe/Australia).

What finishes are available?

Gold, nickel, and white are standard options shown in-store. Chrome, copper, and black are available on request—email us for custom finishes and white screw-free leaf installation.

How is the chandelier installed?

It ships folded for compact transit. Upon arrival, fan out the outermost brass branches by hand to reach full listed length. Two-person install recommended for X-Large and XX-Large (38–46 lbs). Hardwired ceiling mount with 59″ adjustable cable.

Can I customize the cable length or leaf density?

Yes. Cable extensions and custom leaf density are available made-to-order. Email us your ceiling height and table dimensions—Vakkerlight's atelier will build your exact specification.

How many leaves does this fixture have?

The leaves are part of a continuous resin form molded in layers. The fixture is one sculpted piece, not individual leaves you count. Each size has proportionally more leaf area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

Installation requires routing the pendant wires through your ceiling and connecting to a standard electrical box. If you are comfortable with basic wiring, two people can handle it. A licensed electrician is recommended if you are unsure.

Which finish matches warm gold décor?

The Gold lampbody (V1, V4, V7, V10, V13) pairs naturally with warm wood, brass accents, and neutral walls. Nickel (V2, V5, V8, V11, V14) reads cooler and works better with chrome or stainless steel. White (V3, V6, V9, V12, V15) blends into neutral ceilings.

De bladen maken deel uit van een doorlopende harsvorm die in lagen is gegoten. De armatuur is één gebeeldhouwd onderdeel, niet individuele bladen die u kunt tellen. Elk formaat heeft proportioneel meer bladoppervlak.

Heb ik een elektricien nodig om dit te installeren?

Installatie vereist het routeren van de hanglamp-draden door uw plafond en aansluiting op een standaard elektradoos. Bent u handig met basis elektrawerk, dan kunnen twee personen dit aanpakken. Een erkend elektricien wordt aanbevolen als u onzeker bent.

Welke afwerking past bij warm goud interieur?

Het Goud lampenlichaam (V1, V4, V7, V10, V13) combineert natuurlijk met warm hout, koperen accenten en neutrale wanden. Nikkel (V2, V5, V8, V11, V14) voelt koeler aan en werkt beter met chroom of roestvrijstaal. Wit (V3, V6, V9, V12, V15) vloeit naadloos in neutrale plafonds.

From Clay to Chandelier The Ceramic Leaf:
Four Stages of Craft

Each ginkgo leaf passes through four skilled hands before it joins the chandelier. No leaf is identical. Every surface carries the trace of the artisan who made it.

Step 1: Sculpting and carving the ceramic ginkgo leaf form

Sculpting & Carving

Each leaf begins as raw clay. Master sculptors shape the distinctive bilobed ginkgo form by hand, carving the characteristic veins and curvature that give each leaf its living quality.

Mold Making

Precision plaster molds are cast from the master sculpt. Each mold preserves the exact weight, thickness, and surface detail of the original — ensuring every leaf in a commission matches perfectly.

Kiln Firing

Formed leaves are carefully dried then fired in a high-temperature kiln. The ceramic body becomes hard, dense, and uniquely translucent — allowing the warm glow of the light source to soften through each leaf.

Grinding & Polishing

Each fired leaf is ground and hand-polished to a smooth, silk-matte finish. The edges are refined, the surface inspected, and any imperfection addressed — before the leaf is approved and assembled onto the brass armature.
