Can I adjust the hanging height for my ceiling?

Yes. The standard 59.1″ wire adjusts during installation to suit your space. For double-height ceilings requiring longer suspension, contact our support team before ordering for custom wire lengths.

Is the natural veining in the stone a defect?

No. The clouding and veining are hallmarks of natural alabaster, highly prized in architectural lighting. Each unit's unique geological patterns ensure no two fixtures are identical—a signature of solid stone craftsmanship.

Which configuration works best over a dining table?

The 3-head (∅ 11.8″) or 5-head (∅ 13.8″) clusters provide balanced coverage over standard or large dining tables. The 2-head (∅ 7.9″) suits intimate settings. Vakkerlight can advise on custom sizing for your table dimensions.

Is this fixture dimmable?

Yes. Pair it with dimmable E26/E27 LED bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer to control light intensity and create ambient or romantic moods. Maximum 40W per head.

How far down does this fixture hang?

V1 is just 5.9 inches total. V2 and V3 drop 59.1 inches. V4 drops 78.7 inches. V5 drops the full 98.4 inches. The drop is measured from ceiling to the bottom of the lowest shade.

Can I use the single-head version over a kitchen island?

Yes, but only if your island is small or if you're using it as a secondary accent light. V1 has a 5.5-inch diameter and shallow 5.9-inch profile. Most island installs choose V2 or V3 for better coverage.

What's the difference between the 3-head and 5-head models?

V3 has 3 heads on an 11.8-inch canopy and drops 59.1 inches total. V4 has 5 heads on a 13.8-inch canopy and drops 78.7 inches. V4 is wider and much taller—built for double-height spaces.

Is the alabaster shade solid or see-through?

The frosted alabaster is translucent. Light glows through the white glass evenly. The texture is cast into the glass surface itself; it's not painted or coated.

Can’t this light be used in a bathroom?

While the Odyssey Pendant Light can physically be installed in a bathroom,
we do not recommend placing it in areas with high humidity, such as directly above a shower or bathtub.
The moisture in such environments could potentially affect the longevity and performance of the fixture, particularly its electrical components and finish.
For optimal results and to preserve the quality of your chandelier,
it’s best to install it in a well-ventilated area where exposure to excessive moisture is minimized.
