Stone Selection

Master craftsmen begin by hand-picking premium alabaster blocks for each lamp. They look for stones with the ideal balance of translucence and character – a fine, even grain that will diffuse light nicely, accented by attractive natural veining. Only the best quality alabaster, often sourced from renowned quarries (such as in Spain or Italy), is chosen to ensure durability and a consistent warm glow in the finished product. Carving & Shaping

Once the stone is selected, artisans carve and shape the alabaster into the desired form of the lamp, whether a delicate cylindrical lampshade or an ornate lamp base.
