The base is fired ceramic shaped like a traditional wine pot. The shade is linen fabric. Metal hardware connects them. All components are handcrafted.

Does it support dimming?

Dimming depends on your bulb choice. The lamp ships with a standard non-dimming bulb and a push-button on/off switch. If you buy a dimmable LED or Edison bulb, the lamp will dim.

Where is the switch and how long is the cord?

The switch is a push-button on the cord. Standard cord length is 150cm (59 inches). Longer cords are available—email support@vakkerlight.com with your needs.

What surface height does this lamp suit?

At 46cm tall, it fits standard side tables, nightstands, and consoles 50–75cm high. On taller console tables, the proportions shift; measure your space before ordering.

Is this available in the US and does it ship free?

Yes. It accepts US plugs (also available in UK, EU, and AU versions). All US orders ship free to all 50 states. AC voltage is 110–240V, so it works on standard North American household power.

Rejecting cheap slip-casting, we insist on premium natural kaolin clay and fine mineral sand. Each shade is hand-thrown on the wheel by master artisans, permanently engraving the gentle, natural rhythm of spinning clay into the fixture's very soul.

1300°C High-Temperature Vitrification

Once shaped, the raw clay undergoes extensive air-drying before being fired in a kiln at 1300°C for over ten hours. Under extreme heat, the clay fully vitrifies into a stone-like density—immensely strong, fade-proof, and yellowing-resistant. Complemented by a matte mineral glaze, it radiates a heavy, tactile aesthetic.
