What is the Komi lamp made of?

The cocoon-like shade is crafted from delicate washi-style rice paper and supported by minimalist black metal legs, merging traditional aesthetics with modern simplicity.

Are small glue marks on the shade normal?

Yes. The lamp is made by a meticulous hand-bonding process using paper and glue, so you may notice minor traces of glue along the edge of the lampshade. This is normal and is not a quality issue.

What size is it, and where does it work best?

It measures Dia 26cm x H 49cm / ∅ 10.2″ x H 19.3″, and is perfect for bedrooms, reading nooks or minimalist interiors seeking a soft statement piece.

What bulb does it use?

It takes an LED bulb or Edison bulb with an E26 or E27 base, on AC 110-240V.

How is it powered, and how do I connect the wires?

It plugs in with 59″ wires and has an inline on/off switch. To ensure correct installation, connect the black wire to hole number 2 and the white wire to hole number 3, as shown in the connection image on this page.
