The Cloudscape Chandelier marries a solid brass armature with tiered, scallop-cut panels of genuine Spanish alabaster. Overlapping like a floating bank of cumulus clouds, each translucent stone panel diffuses the interior glow to reveal naturally occurring mineral veins. Available in single tiers of Ø 60 cm and Ø 70 cm, dramatic cascade installations up to 4 layers (Ø 100 × H 75 cm), and linear silhouettes tailored for dining tables and kitchen islands.

Every scallop panel is carved from authentic natural alabaster quarried in Spain. Naturally occurring variations in cloudiness, honeyed veining, and warm mineral undertones are inherent to authentic quarried stone. - Genuine alabaster panels carry substantial weight: ensure the ceiling electrical box or mounting crossbar is rated to support the fixture load — do not mount directly to gypsum drywall alone.
- Adjustable 11.8″ suspension chain accommodates standard drops; additional links can be custom configured prior to shipping.
- We recommend 2700K–3000K warm white LED bulbs to enhance the natural honeyed veining of the stone while maintaining low heat output.
- Handle alabaster panels carefully during assembly to avoid edge chipping.
- Suitable for dry indoor environments only; not intended for high-moisture bathrooms or wet outdoor zones.
Where does the alabaster stone originate?
Every individual panel is hewn from authentic natural alabaster quarried in Spain — historically celebrated in luxury lighting for its fine grain, translucency, and natural warmth. It is 100% natural mineral stone, never cast resin or faux glass.
Which configuration is best suited for my room?
Single-tier models (Ø 60–70 cm) suit dining tables, living rooms, and bedrooms. The dramatic 2-layer, 3-layer (Ø 80 cm), and 4-layer (Ø 100 cm) configurations are designed for two-story foyers, open stairwells, and grand great rooms (ceilings 3 m / 10 ft and higher). What bulbs are required and are they dimmable?
The fixture uses standard candelabra base bulbs (E12 for 110–120V North American orders; E14 for 220–240V European, UK, and Australian orders). It is fully dimmable when paired with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer switch.
Can the hanging drop height be customized?
Yes. The fixture ships with an 11.8″ (30 cm) adjustable chain. If your ceiling height requires a longer suspension, reach out before dispatch and our workshop will prepare custom-length chain links for you.
Can this chandelier be installed in a bathroom?
No. Natural alabaster is porous and the electrical framework is rated for dry indoor locations only. It should not be installed in bathrooms, high-humidity zones, or outdoors.
Why does each panel vary slightly in texture and color?
Because each panel is sliced from natural geological deposits, subtle variations in opacity, crystalline patterns, and vein coloring are expected and celebrated. These unique hallmarks distinguish authentic Spanish alabaster from artificial imitation materials.
Is this fixture certified for North America and Europe?
Yes. It is manufactured to global compliance standards, compatible with UL/ETL for North America, CE/RoHS for the EU & UK, and SAA for Australia, operating safely across AC 110–240V.
