The Sferanne Alabaster Sphere Ceiling Light hangs a solid sphere of natural alabaster just below the ceiling, held by a tapered metal cone. A G9 bulb inside lights the whole globe from within, bringing out its soft white tone and amber veining. Choose Brushed Nickel, Black, or Brass, in Small, Medium, or Large — it matches the Sferanne wall sconce.

Natural alabaster — one of a kind

Each sphere is cut from natural alabaster, so veining, tone, and small marks differ from piece to piece. No two lights look exactly alike — these variations are part of the stone, not defects.

Setup & Care

Turn off power at the breaker before installing — a licensed electrician is recommended.
Fix the canopy securely to the junction box; the Large sphere is solid stone and heavier than it looks.
Dust the sphere with a soft, dry cloth; do not use water or cleaning sprays on the stone.
Let the bulb cool before handling the sphere or changing the bulb.

Small: Ø 5.9″ x H 9.8″ / Dia 15cm x H 25cm. Medium: Ø 7.9″ x H 12.2″ / Dia 20cm x H 31cm. Large: Ø 9.8″ x H 13.8″ / Dia 25cm x H 35cm.

Which size should I choose?

Small suits closets, powder rooms, and narrow hallways. Medium works in most bedrooms and entryways. Large gives more presence in a bigger room or over a landing.

What bulb does it use?

One G9 bulb in every size. G9 is a small two-pin bulb, not a screw-in base, so choose G9 bulbs for replacements.

Is there a matching wall sconce?

Yes — the Sferanne Alabaster Sphere Wall Sconce uses the same alabaster sphere and finishes, also in Small, Medium, and Large.

Which finishes are available, and how do I clean the alabaster?

Brushed Nickel, Black, or Brass. Dust the sphere with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from water — alabaster is a porous natural stone.
