The Vakkerlight Layered Blade Sconce is an exercise in architectural precision and indirect light. This striking vertical fixture is composed of multiple parallel brass or gold-toned metal blades that are subtly offset from one another.

The LED light source is strategically concealed between the layers, allowing the light to "slice" through the gaps. This unique design creates an even, powerful wash of indirect light and a dramatic, three-dimensional shadow effect on the wall. It is perfect for modern hallways and galleries.

What sizes does the Layered Blade Sconce come in?+

Three heights: ∅ 7.5″ x H 11.8″, ∅ 7.5″ x H 23.6″, and ∅ 7.5″ x H 31.5″. All feature a 7.5″ diameter. Custom sizing available through our atelier.

How does the light work on this sconce?+

Integrated LED light is hidden between the offset brass blades, creating an indirect wash of light and dramatic shadow effects on the wall. Warm light (3000K) standard.

What finish options are available?+

Brass body with clear acrylic. The layered blade design in solid brass creates the architectural effect, with light diffusing through the gaps.

Is this sconce hardwired or can it be customized?+

Hardwired to a standard wall switch (not included). Triac dimming control is a build-to-order option. Contact us to discuss customization for your space.

What rooms work best for this sconce?+

Modern hallways, galleries, stairwells, and accent walls benefit from its vertical proportions and dramatic indirect lighting. Taller sizes suit double-height spaces.
