The Thessa Alabaster Cone Pendant Light hangs a natural alabaster cone from a slim downrod and a round canopy. A swivel joint above the shade lets it hang straight, and the open bottom sends light down while the stone glows with its veining in a soft 3000K tone. Setup & Care

Turn off power at the breaker before installing. A licensed electrician is recommended.
Fix the canopy to the junction box, then let the shade settle straight on the swivel joint.
Dust the shade with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning sprays on the stone.
Let the bulb cool before handling the shade or changing the bulb.

FAQs

What bulb does the Thessa pendant use?

One bulb with an E26 or E27 base. The bulb shows at the open bottom, so a decorative warm white 3000K bulb looks best.

How big is the alabaster shade?

The shade measures Ø 6.7″ x H 6.7″ / Dia 17cm x H 17cm. Its compact size works well in a row of two or three over a kitchen island.

What is the swivel joint for?

The swivel joint between the downrod and the shade lets the shade settle and hang straight below the canopy.

Does it plug in, or does it need to be hardwired?

It is hardwired. The canopy mounts over a standard ceiling junction box and it is controlled by a wall switch; there is no plug or cord. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

Which finishes are available, and will my alabaster look like the photos?

Black, aged brass, and brushed nickel. Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining and tone differ on every shade. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from water, as the stone is porous.

Alabaster is a soft, fine-grained mineral. Cut thin and polished, it turns light into an even, candle-warm glow — no glare, no hard edges.

Every shade starts as a raw block and passes through skilled hands, shaped and finished one piece at a time.
