Can this lamp dim?

Yes, if you purchase a dimmable LED or Edison bulb. The fixture itself has a standard on/off push-button switch.

How long is the cord and where is the switch?

The power cord is 150cm long and terminates in a push-button switch for on/off control. Custom lengths are available—contact support@vakkerlight.com to request.

What size surface should this sit on?

The base is 40cm in diameter and the lamp stands 68cm tall. It suits any table or desk 18 inches deep or deeper.

Will this work in the US and does it ship free?

Alabaster is a soft, fine-grained mineral. Cut thin and polished, it turns light into an even, candle-warm glow — no glare, no hard edges.

Variations in tone and veining are the signature of natural stone — not flaws. Your piece will be one of a kind.

From Stone to Lamp

Made slowly, by hand.

Every shade starts as a raw block and passes through skilled hands, shaped and finished one piece at a time.
