The Husk is an alabaster wall sconce — two curved panels of translucent natural alabaster cradling a slim brass-tone stem, like a seed husk opening to the light. Lit, an integrated warm LED glows through the stone and reveals its natural veining. At 19.3″ tall and 5.3″ wide, it suits a bedside wall, a hallway, an entry, or flanking a mirror.

Each panel is natural alabaster, so its translucency, veining, and tone vary from piece to piece and from the photos. These are characteristics of genuine stone, not defects.

- Hardwired to a standard wall junction box — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Alabaster is heavy: handle the sconce by its body, never by the wiring, and use wall anchors rated for 11 lb / 5 kg.
- Wipe with a dry or barely damp soft cloth; alabaster is porous, so avoid water and harsh cleaners.
How much light does it give?
The integrated 6W warm LED (480 lm) glows through the stone for a soft, diffused wash — ambient and accent light rather than bright task light. Lovely beside a bed or mirror; add other fixtures for full-room light.
How big is it, and where should I mount it?
It is 19.3″ / 49cm tall, 5.3″ / 13.5cm wide, and projects 3.9″ / 10cm from the wall. Centre it about 60–66″ (152–168cm) from the floor beside a bed, in a hallway or entry, or flanking a mirror.
Will the stone look like the photos?
Each panel is natural alabaster, so veining, translucency, and tone vary from piece to piece — yours will be similar but not identical. That is the character of real stone.
Is it dimmable?
It has an integrated warm-white LED, so there is no bulb to buy. For a dimmable setup, email info@vakkerlighting.com before ordering and we will confirm the options.

How do I care for the alabaster?
