Istar Alabaster Chandelier
The Istar Chandelier cradles a deep bowl of natural Spanish alabaster — 100% imported from Spain — in a polished metal rim, held aloft by three slender rods that rise and converge to a single center stem, like a vessel carried on a tripod. The integrated warm 3000K LED fills the bowl from within, so the stone's amber veining spreads across the dome like weather on a small planet, casting soft uplight and a warm pool below. At Ø 38 × H 79 cm overall, and in Gold, Black, or Chrome hardware, the Istar hangs over dining tables, kitchen islands, entryways, and stair landings.

Every bowl is carved from natural alabaster quarried in Spain. Veining and tone vary from piece to piece, so your chandelier will differ from the photos shown — this variation is the character of genuine stone, not a defect.

- Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- The bowl carries real stone weight: anchor the canopy to a junction box or ceiling structure rated for the fixture — never drywall alone.
- The rigid rod structure holds the bowl perfectly level; a longer drop can be arranged before shipping — contact us with your ceiling height.
- Integrated LED — no bulb installation needed. If the LED module is ever damaged, contact us for a replacement.
- Handle the alabaster bowl with both hands and avoid impact — natural stone can chip.
- For indoor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms or damp locations.
Where does the alabaster come from?
The bowl is carved from natural alabaster that is 100% imported from Spain — the same Spanish stone prized in fine lighting for its warm tone and translucency. It is genuine quarried stone, not resin or faux-alabaster glass.
Where does the Istar work best?
The Ø 38 cm bowl suits round tables for 4, breakfast nooks, entryways, and stair landings — and a pair reads beautifully over a long table or kitchen island. With its H 79 cm overall height, allow roughly 2.7 m (9 ft) of ceiling height over a table; contact us for a longer or shorter drop.
Is the Istar dimmable?
The standard version is a warm 3000K light that works with a common on/off wall switch and is not dimmable. If you'd like dimming, a Triac-dimmable warm-light version is available as a custom order — contact us and we will reply within 24 hours.
Can I replace the LED?
Yes — the LED module is replaceable. Nothing needs changing in normal use, since quality LEDs of this type are rated for tens of thousands of hours; and if the LED is ever damaged, contact us and we will arrange a replacement module — we reply within 24 hours.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No — this fixture is designed for dry indoor locations only and should not be installed in bathrooms, above sinks, or in covered outdoor areas where it could be exposed to moisture.
Why does my chandelier look different from the product photos?
The bowl is natural Spanish stone, so veining and tone vary from piece to piece. No two Istar chandeliers are exactly alike — this is the character of real alabaster, not a defect.
Is the Istar certified for North America and Europe?
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
