Cary Alabaster Linear Pendant Light
The Cary Linear Pendant turns natural Spanish alabaster — 100% imported from Spain — into one continuous glowing bar, capped at each end by a blackened or polished brass block and hung level from two slim cables. The integrated warm 3000K LED lights the stone along its full length, so the bar reads as a single beam of mineral light, with veining drifting across it like cloud. Three lengths — L 39.4″, 47.2″, and 59.1″ (100, 120, and 150cm), all just 3.1″ (8cm) tall — suit dining tables, kitchen islands, conference tables, and long counters, with a TRIAC-dimmable version available.

Natural Spanish alabaster — every bar is one of a kind
Every bar is cut from natural alabaster quarried in Spain. Veining and tone vary from piece to piece, so your pendant will differ from the photos — this is the character of genuine stone, not a defect.

- Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- The stone bar is heavy: anchor both ceiling points to junction boxes or structure rated well above its weight — never drywall alone.
- The twin 59″ / 150cm cables adjust independently so the bar hangs level; longer cables are available on request before shipping.
- Handle the alabaster bar with two people and avoid impact — natural stone can chip.
- Indoor, dry locations only — not suitable for bathrooms or damp areas.
Where does the alabaster come from?
The bar is natural alabaster, 100% imported from Spain — genuine quarried stone, not resin or faux-alabaster glass.
Which length should I choose for my table?
A linear pendant looks best at roughly half to two-thirds of the table length. L 39.4″ / 100cm suits tables of about 63–79″ (160–200cm) and most kitchen islands; L 47.2″ / 120cm suits tables of 79″ (200cm) and longer; L 59.1″ / 150cm suits long dining and conference tables of about 94″ (240cm) and up.
Is the Cary dimmable?
Two versions are offered. The default is fixed warm 3000K on a standard wall switch. The TRIAC-dimmable version dims smoothly with a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer. Choose the version at checkout.
How long are the cables?
Both cables are 59″ / 150cm and adjust independently so the bar hangs level. Longer cables are available on request before shipping.
Can I replace the LED?
Yes — the LED module is replaceable. If it is ever damaged, email info@vakkerlighting.com and we will arrange a replacement module.
Does the bar need special ceiling support?
Yes — the stone bar is heavy (17.6 lb / 8 kg for the L 100cm, 21.6 lb / 9.8 kg for the L 120cm), so both suspension points must be anchored to junction boxes or ceiling structure rated well above that load, never drywall alone.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No — it is designed for dry indoor locations only, not bathrooms, above sinks, or covered outdoor areas.
