I have this lamp on either side of the king bed in our Michigan cabin and it is perfect. Not very intrusive, but at night it lit up our bedroom perfectly. We don't have ceiling lights other than a spotlight in the corner, so we really need something to light the room. These lights are perfect!

Perfect amount of light in our bedrooms. Takes up very little space and is very subtle.
