What material is the shade made from?
The cone-shaped shade is yellow travertine, a natural stone with inherent pitting and warm, earthy tones. It is topped with a walnut wood ring and hangs on a black cord.
Will the travertine have holes and pits?
Yes. Travertine is a natural stone, so open pores, pitting and tonal variation are normal and differ from piece to piece. They are part of the stone's character, not defects.
What bulb does it use?
One G9 LED bulb. A warm 2700K–3000K G9 LED gives the travertine a soft, ambient glow.
Where does it work best, and can it go in a bathroom?
As a compact mini pendant it works well in a row over a kitchen island, above a dining table, or by the bed. It is not recommended for bathrooms: travertine is porous and absorbs moisture, and the pendant is rated IP 20 for indoor, dry locations only.
How do I clean the travertine shade?
Gently dust with a soft, dry cloth. Travertine is a natural stone; avoid harsh chemicals or excess moisture to preserve its pitted texture and warm patina over time.
