A slim vertical tube of natural alabaster or clear glass, cradled by a metal bracket on a compact backplate — two G9 bulbs glow softly through the shade from inside. It measures 3.1″ x 13″ (8 x 33 cm) and projects only 1.8″ (4.5 cm) from the wall. Pick stone or glass, then brass, brushed nickel, or matte black — for hallways, bedsides, dining-room walls, or flanking a mirror.

Natural alabaster — every tube is one of a kind
If you choose the alabaster shade, each tube is cut from natural stone with its own veining, color shifts, and small inclusions. No two pieces look identical, and variation from the photos is expected — it is a mark of genuine stone, not a defect.

- Hardwired over a standard junction box — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Mounts vertically as shown. To flank a mirror, headboard, or art, allow 24–30″ between the two centers.
- Use two G9 bulbs; low-heat bulbs are best next to a stone or glass shade.
- Indoor, dry locations only (IP20). Not suitable for bathrooms or damp areas.
- Alabaster is softer than marble and can chip if dropped — handle gently. Dust with a dry, soft cloth; no water or solvents on the stone. The clear glass shade can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried.
Alabaster or glass — which should I pick?
Alabaster diffuses light through natural stone for a warm, soft glow, and each tube is one of a kind. Clear glass gives a brighter, crisper light and reads more minimal. Match alabaster to warm, layered interiors; glass to modern or industrial rooms.
Which finish should I pick?
Brass pairs warmly with wood, cream, and classic interiors. Brushed nickel reads cooler — good with marble, greys, or coastal palettes. Matte black gives high contrast against light walls. Pair two sconces of the same finish for symmetry.
How big is it, and how far does it stick out?
It measures W 3.1″ x H 13″ x Projection 1.8″ / W 8cm x H 33cm x Projection 4.5cm. The backplate is 3.1″ x 2.8″ / 8cm x 7cm, so it suits narrow hallways and tight wall spaces.
What bulbs does it take?
Two G9 bulbs. Choose low-heat, warm-white G9 bulbs for a soft glow, especially with the alabaster shade.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for indoor, dry locations only and is not suitable for bathrooms or damp areas. It works well in hallways, bedrooms, and dining rooms.
How fragile is the alabaster?
Alabaster is softer than marble and can chip if dropped, so handle the tube gently during installation. Once mounted, the sconce is as stable as any other wall fixture. If anything arrives damaged, email info@vakkerlighting.com with photos.
