White and black polystyrene pendant, 20cm diameter

The Chapin is a hanging pendant lamp made of two high-density polystyrene shells—one black to direct light, one white to diffuse it—measuring 7.9 inches across and 19.7 inches tall. Hang it above a dining table, kitchen island, or bedroom to create layered ambient light.

Questions

What is the Chapin made of?

Two shells of high-density polystyrene—black on the lower half and white on the upper half.

Can I dim the light?

Yes. Install it with a standard wall dimmer switch to adjust brightness from full to low.

Can I change the drop length or cord?

The pendant ships with 59 inches of adjustable hanging cord. Contact support@vakkerlight.com to order a longer or shorter drop before installation.

Does it work on sloped or vaulted ceilings?

Yes. A custom canopy can be ordered to fit angled ceilings. Contact support@vakkerlight.com with your ceiling angle and we will provide options.

Will it work in my US home?

Yes. It runs on standard 110–240V household power, is approved for North America, and ships free to all 50 states.
