The Noctelle Alabaster Globe Wall Sconce sets a natural alabaster sphere in a round collar, held out from an oval backplate by a short arm and carried on a slim U-shaped loop that hangs below. A G9 bulb inside lights the stone from within and brings out its soft amber veining. It comes in aged brass, black, or brushed nickel, and measures 6.7″ wide, 13.8″ tall, and 8.5″ from the wall.

A slim tube folds into a long loop below the globe, adding a graphic, modern line.

Alabaster is a natural stone. Each globe has its own veining and tone, so no two sconces look exactly alike. These variations are not defects.
- Turn off power at the breaker before installing. A licensed electrician is recommended.
- Mount the oval backplate upright so the globe sits on top and the loop hangs below.
- Dust the globe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning sprays on the stone.
- Let the bulb cool before handling the globe or changing the bulb.
What bulb does the Noctelle wall sconce use?
One G9 bulb, and the bulb is included. G9 is a small two-pin bulb, not a standard screw-in base, so choose G9 bulbs for replacements.
How big is it, and how far does it stick out from the wall?
It projects 8.5″ (21.5cm) from the wall. The full size is W 6.7″ x H 13.8″ x Projection 8.5″ / W 17cm x H 35cm x Projection 21.5cm.
Can I use a pair beside a bed or mirror?
Yes. Its slim, upright shape suits a pair beside a bed or mirror. It is rated for indoor, dry locations, so in a bathroom mount it where it will not be splashed and keep steam away from the stone.
Does it plug in, or does it need to be hardwired?
It is hardwired. The backplate mounts over a standard junction box, and there is no plug or cord. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
Which finishes are available, and will my alabaster look like the photos?
Aged brass, black, and brushed nickel. Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining and tone differ on every globe. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from water, as the stone is porous.
