Stripped of bulky housing, the Skyline Linear Strip Light uses a tensioned steel band to carry a continuous line of LED light from wall to wall or across the ceiling. It works as both an architectural line and a powerful light source, with a dramatic yet clean look — ideal for modern corridors, open-plan living areas and minimalist studios.

Triac dimmable version: Choose the dimmable option, then pair it with a Triac wall dimmer (shop on Amazon ↗) for smooth, flicker-free dimming. Dimmer not included.

Cut-to-length — measure first: The steel band can be cut to fit your exact room length, but once cut, it cannot be restored, extended or adjusted. Secure the band tightly at both ends so the light stays perfectly straight, and measure your mounting points precisely before cutting.

Sizing & questions

Here is what most clients ask before choosing theirs.

How do I choose the right length?

Measure the exact distance between your mounting points, wall to wall or across the ceiling, and order the next length up (13, 20, 26 or 33 ft). Your installer cuts the steel band and LED strip to fit on site. Once cut, it cannot be extended or restored, so measure carefully.

Can I direct the light up or down?

Yes. Each base rotates 360°, so before setting the final tension you can turn the band to shine downward for direct light, upward for soft indirect light, or at any angle in between.

Is the steel band safe under tension?

Yes, when installed correctly. The bases must be anchored into wood studs, concrete or masonry — not drywall alone — so they can safely hold the tension that keeps the light perfectly straight. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

Do I need the dimmable version?

Choose the standard Warm Light version for a common on/off wall switch. If you want to adjust brightness, choose the Triac dimmable version and pair it with a Triac wall dimmer (sold separately).

How much power does it use?

About 10W per meter: 40W for 13 ft, 60W for 20 ft, 80W for 26 ft and 100W for 33 ft. Power scales with the length you install.
