The Washi Paper 3A/9A Table Lamp features a hand-crafted shade made from authentic washi paper, supported by wood and bamboo ribs. Each shade is hand-bonded from washi paper over bamboo ribs in the traditional way. Renowned as icons of 1950s modern design, these light sculptures combine traditional Japanese craftsmanship with timeless aesthetic principles, bringing refined elegance and subtle ambient lighting to any space.

Purchase instructions: This product undergoes a meticulous hand-bonding process using paper and glue. As a result, you may notice minor traces of glue along the edge of the lampshade. Please be aware that this occurrence is considered normal and does not constitute a quality issue.

Note*: To ensure correct installation, please follow these connection guidelines:
- Connect the black wire to hole number 2.
- Attach the white wire to hole number 3.

Every piece is made to order in our own atelier — here is what most clients ask before choosing theirs.

What are the exact dimensions of this table lamp?+

Two sizes available: small is ∅ 13.0″ × H 22.8″; large is ∅ 16.5″ × H 23.6″. Choose based on your table surface and ceiling height—the larger fits generous surfaces and open rooms.

Can I use an LED or Edison bulb with this lamp?+

Yes. The lamp accepts both LED and Edison bulbs with E26 or E27 base types. Bulbs are easily replaceable, and you can swap between bulb types as needed.

What light source comes with the lamp?+

The lamp is supplied with your choice of LED or Edison bulb. Both work with the standard E26/E27 socket and the inline on/off switch.

What plugs are available for different countries?+

Select from US, UK, EU, or AU plugs at checkout. The 59″ cord includes an inline switch. Voltage is AC 110–240V universal.

How should I care for the washi paper shade?+

Gently dust the shade with a soft, dry cloth. Minor glue traces along edges are normal from the hand-bonding process and do not affect quality or function.
