What is the Doppler made of?

Iron metal pole, metal base, and white glass globe shades. The base is round and weighted to keep the lamp stable.

Can I dim this lamp?

The standard model has a push button on/off switch. Dimming is available as a build-to-order option—contact support@vakkerlight.com to request it.

Where is the switch and how long is the cord?

Push button switch is built into the 59.1" power cord with plug. The cord length is fixed; custom lengths are made to order by contacting support@vakkerlight.com.

What size room or seating does this suit?

The 23.6" tall version works on side tables or console tables. The 63.8" tall version stands beside sofas, chairs, or in room corners as an accent light.

Does it work in the US and ship free?

Yes. The lamp runs on standard US household power (AC 110-240V) and is certified for North America. All US orders ship free to all 50 states.

I love this lamp but I do not love the cord. The lamp is heavy and beautiful. I lovethe gold color and it puts out a good amount of light. I dont like that the cord is black.
