The Strivane Fluted Alabaster Wall Sconce wraps a half-cylinder of fluted natural alabaster between two slim metal end caps. Integrated LED light inside sets the vertical ribs and the stone's soft grey veining glowing in a warm 3000K tone. It comes in aged brass, black, or brushed nickel, and measures 4.7″ wide, 14.2″ tall, and 5.9″ from the wall.

Alabaster is a natural stone. Each shade has its own veining and tone, so no two sconces look exactly alike. These variations are not defects.

Setup & Care

Turn off power at the breaker before installing. A licensed electrician is recommended.
Mount the backplate upright so the fluted shade runs vertically.
Dust the shade with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning sprays on the stone.
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to replace.

FAQs

Does the Strivane sconce use a bulb?

No. It has an integrated LED light source in warm 3000K light, so there is no bulb to buy or change.

How big is it, and how far does it stick out from the wall?

It projects 5.9″ (15cm) from the wall. The full size is W 4.7″ x H 14.2″ x Projection 5.9″ / W 12cm x H 36cm x Projection 15cm.

Can I use a pair beside a bathroom mirror?

The slim, upright shape works well on both sides of a mirror. It is rated for indoor, dry locations, so mount it where it will not be splashed and keep steam away from the stone.

Does it plug in, or does it need to be hardwired?

It is hardwired. The backplate mounts over a standard junction box, and there is no plug or cord. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

Which finishes are available, and will my alabaster look like the photos?

Aged brass, black, and brushed nickel. Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining and tone differ on every shade. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from water, as the stone is porous.
