Setup & Care

Set the base on a flat, level surface and leave about 15″ of width clear for the shade.
Use a warm white LED bulb — it runs cooler under a paper shade.
Route the 59″ / 150cm cord away from walkways.
Indoor, dry rooms only — keep away from sinks, showers, and outdoor areas.
Dust the base and shade with a soft, dry cloth; do not soak the lamp or use water on the paper shade.

What bulb does it use?

One E26 or E27 bulb. A warm white LED bulb stays cooler under the paper shade.

Will it fit on my nightstand?

The lamp is 26.6″ / 67.5cm tall with a Ø 15″ / 38cm shade, so plan on a nightstand or side table at least 15″ wide. The base is 14.4″ / 36.5cm long.

How do I turn it on?

It plugs into a standard outlet and has a push-button switch on the 59″ / 150cm cord.

Does it come in other colors?

It comes in one style: a black wood base with a white paper shade. Each base is handmade, so the shape and finish vary slightly from piece to piece.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No — it is made for dry indoor rooms such as bedrooms, studies, and living rooms. Moisture can damage the wood and the paper shade.

How do I clean it?

Unplug the lamp and dust the base and shade with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak the lamp or use water on the paper shade.
