It takes LED bulbs or Edison bulbs with an E26 or E27 base, and runs on AC 110-240V.
How is it installed and switched on?
It mounts to the ceiling, is hardwired, and is compatible with a common wall switch (not included). The switch should be connected to an external wall light switch for a controlled electricity supply.
