Common questions

How wide is this pendant?

Ø 13.8″ / 35cm. It hangs as a slim vertical column rather than a wide spread.

How tall is it, and what ceiling height does it need?

The fixture itself is H 63″ / 160cm, plus a 59″ / 150cm adjustable cable. Because of its length, it suits ceilings of 10 ft or more, double-height foyers, and stairwells. On a standard 8 ft ceiling the bottom would sit only about 33″ above the floor.

What bulb does it use?

E26 or E27 bulbs. A warm white 2700–3000K bulb gives the paper its softest glow.

Can the washi paper be replaced if it tears or yellows?

The paper is part of the fixture assembly. If it is damaged, email info@vakkerlighting.com with photos and we will advise on repair or replacement options.

How do I clean the washi paper?

Washi paper is delicate. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and keep it away from moisture and cleaning products.
