Infuse your home with organic modern elegance with this sculptural black wood table lamp. The striking solid wood base features a unique cutout design that perfectly balances negative space with striking silhouette, while the crisp white drum shade provides a soft, ambient glow ideal for a cozy bedroom nightstand or a sophisticated living room end table. Blending seamlessly with Japandi, minimalist, and transitional decor styles, this statement lighting piece effortlessly elevates any reading nook, entryway console, or bedside table with its striking contrast and premium craftsmanship.
Carved Solid Ash Wood
Ash is a hard, open-grained wood. The base is carved, sanded, and stained by hand, so each one varies slightly.
Soft, Glare-Free Light
The 13.6″ white shade diffuses the bulb into an even ambient glow for a nightstand or end table.
Standard E26 Socket
Takes common medium-base bulbs up to 60W, so you can choose the brightness and color temperature you like.

- Set the base on a flat, level surface, and leave about 14″ of clearance for the shade.
- Use an E26 bulb of 60W or less. An LED bulb gives the same brightness at lower wattage and runs cooler.
- The 59″ (150 cm) cord reaches most outlets beside a nightstand or desk; route it away from walkways.
- Use indoors in dry rooms only. Keep away from sinks, showers, and outdoor areas.
- Dust the base and shade with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak the lamp or use water on the shade.
What bulb does the Rao Wood Table Lamp take?
It has an E26/E27 socket for standard medium-base bulbs, rated for a maximum of 60W. An LED bulb equivalent to 60W uses far less power and stays cooler inside the shade.
Is the Rao Wood Table Lamp the right size for a nightstand?
The lamp is 24.2″ (61.5 cm) tall with a 13.6″ (34.5 cm) shade, so it fits a nightstand or end table at least 14″ wide. The base footprint is only 6.3″ x 3.9″ (16 x 10 cm).
What color is the Rao Wood Table Lamp?
It is listed in black and white: a hand-stained ash wood base with a white shade. Because each base is stained by hand, tone and grain vary slightly from piece to piece.
Can I use this wood table lamp in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. The lamp is made for dry indoor locations such as bedrooms, studies, and living rooms. Moisture can damage both the wood base and the shade.
How do I clean a wood table lamp?
Unplug the lamp and dust the base and shade with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak the lamp or use water on the shade.
