The Orbio Sphere Pendant Light strikes a beautiful balance between natural warmth and sculptural modernism. A stacked trio of smooth wooden beads transitions gracefully into a textured lava-stone sphere, creating a striking contrast of form and material. The volcanic stone diffuser emits a soft, focused glow from the bottom — ideal for accent lighting, bedside placement, kitchen islands, or grouped installations. About the black travertine — genuine natural stone with a matte black surface finish
The sphere shade of this pendant is made from genuine travertine stone. To create a deep, even black aesthetic, the stone surface is finished with a matte black coating — rather than left in its natural off-white state. This is an intentional design choice: the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are preserved, while the surface colour is controlled. The entire stone presents a consistent matte black — this is exactly as it was designed to be.
Natural travertine — formed by geological processes
Travertine is formed in the natural environment through thousands of years of complex physical and chemical processes. Even beneath the black surface, the pore distribution and stone characteristics of each piece remain entirely unique.

Is the travertine naturally black?
No — travertine is naturally off-white. The matte black finish is a surface coating applied to the genuine stone. The natural pore structure, weight, and density are fully preserved beneath.
What bulb does it use?

Can I group multiple Orbio pendants together?
Yes — the compact ∅3.9″ size is ideal for grouped cluster installations at varying heights, particularly over kitchen islands or dining tables.

How do I clean the walnut beads and travertine sphere?+
Gently dust walnut beads with a soft, dry cloth. For the travertine sphere, use a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals; the porous stone surface requires gentle care.
