Polished chrome floor lamp with diffused light

A 66.5-inch floor lamp with a tapered polycarbonate diffuser and chrome-plated metal frame. Stands in living rooms, bedrooms, and reading corners where even, soft light is needed.

Die-cast, polished, and chrome-plated alloy rod and support. Galvanized steel base cover. Diameter 40cm (15.7 inches).

Three diffuser finishes

Clear, smoky, or bronze outer PMMA with silver or bronze vacuum-coated inner surface. Opal polycarbonate inner diffuser.

What is the diffuser made of?

Inner diffuser is injection-molded opal polycarbonate. Outer diffuser is transparent or smoky PMMA with silver or bronze vacuum coating on the inner surface.

Can you dim this lamp?

The lamp uses a push-button on/off switch. Custom dimming is available—contact support@vakkerlight.com for details.

Where is the switch and how long is the cord?

Push-button switch on the cord. The cord is 59.1 inches long and ends in a plug.

What furniture works well with this lamp?

Place it beside upholstered seating—an armchair, sofa, or bed—or in a corner next to a reading chair.

Does it work in the US and ship free?

The cord length is decent, and the switch is easy to access. A very functional and pretty lamp.

It looks great both on and off. When it's off, the outer shade has a nice sheen to it. Perfect for a home office. It provides good ambient light without being distracting.

I like that it's lightweight enough to move around easily, but sturdy enough to stay put. The plastic shade means I don't have to worry about shattering it.

It gives off such a soft, pleasant light. The inner shade diffuses the brightness so there's no glare, just a nice glow.

The square base is a nice detail. It feels very stable and heavy, so I'm not worried about it tipping over.

I was worried the acrylic shade might look cheap, but honestly, you can't tell it's not glass until you touch it. It looks very sophisticated.
