What size dining table does the Sora work best with?+

At ∅ 30.7″, the Sora suits dining tables 48″–60″ long. Suspend it 30″–36″ above the table surface. For different dimensions, our atelier can custom-size the fixture to your space.

How low can I hang this pendant?+

The fixture includes 59″ of adjustable hanging cable. It can be extended upon request in our atelier, allowing you to dial in the perfect drop for any ceiling height or room proportions.

Should I choose natural or black rattan?+

Natural rattan glows warm and organic; black rattan reads modern and bold. Natural suits bohemian and rustic settings; black pairs with contemporary or industrial dining rooms. Both are handwoven in our workshop.

What bulbs does it take, and can I use LED?+

The Sora accepts E26 or E27 bulbs—LED or Edison. Choose LED for long life and efficiency, or Edison for vintage ambiance. Both options cast warm, dramatic shadows through the rattan weave.

How do I clean the rattan shade?+

Gently dust with a soft brush or cloth. Avoid moisture and harsh chemicals. The handwoven rattan is delicate; light maintenance keeps it looking fresh for years.

Woven in Time:
A Heritage Craft, Shaped by Hand

No machine can replicate a craftsman's feel for rattan tension. From splitting and scraping raw bamboo culms to the intricate interlacing of rattan strands, a single medium-sized bamboo lamp can take a master artisan several days to complete.

Not a drop of glue is used at the joints — only refined mortise-and-tenon joinery and hand-tied rattan knots. This is more than a lighting fixture; it is a dialogue between humanity and nature across time, carrying marks of life that can never be repeated.

*Note: The natural grain, subtle color variation, and hand-woven finishing marks on the bamboo and rattan surface are nature's gift and proof of craftsmanship — not imperfections.

We select mature bamboo grown at high altitude for five years or more as the frame, prized for its exceptional strength. The woven surface uses natural Indonesian rattan that develops a warm patina with age and light exposure.

Deep Physical Carbonization

Each piece undergoes rigorous high-temperature, high-pressure steaming and physical carbonization dehydration — thoroughly mold- and insect-resistant with zero chemical treatment, built to last for years to come.

Cheap Market Alternatives

Cheap PE Plastic Faux Rattan

Distinctly plastic and lifeless. It often gives off an odor under light exposure and quickly grows brittle with age, losing any sense of premium home décor quality.

Untreated Low-Grade Bamboo

Manufacturers skip the complex steaming and carbonization process to cut costs. In humid environments, it quickly blackens, molds, or attracts insects — a serious hygiene risk in the home.

This was easy to install and really makes a nice change from an old chandelier that was left here by previous tenants. I like the look that it brings. I recommend it!

I didnt measure my space before getting this; it still works, but make sure you do check that this will be large enough.I just love it.Works well as accent lamp.

I love this pendant lamp! It totally matches the boho chic aesthetic of my room. It works really well. I've had it about 6 months with no issues. It was easy to install, and the perfect addition as bedside lighting. Before, I had to have a lamp on my nightstand, but this helps free to space since it's hanging.
